The ESPEN Reference Laboratory is hosted in Ouagadougou, Burkina Faso, within the facilities of the WHO Country Office. It welcomes collaboration requests from national programmes, implementing partners, and research institutions seeking diagnostic support, training opportunities, or participation in quality assurance initiatives.

Requests for laboratory services, technical assistance, or supply dispatch can be made through WHO Country Offices or directly via the ESPEN Secretariat. The laboratory team coordinates sample shipments, reporting of results, and follow-up with country focal points to ensure timely support and high-quality outputs.

The laboratory is led by Dr. Aimé Adjami, Head of the ESPEN Reference Laboratory, who oversees its strategic direction, partnerships, and technical operations.
