Chad is a landlocked country in north-central Africa, endemic for all five PC-NTDs (LF, onchocerciasis, schistosomiasis, STH and trachoma) and loiasis. The General Directorate for Hygiene and Disease Control, within the Ministry of Health, implements a strategic plan against NTDs.
