Evaluation Report from the 2025 NTD Programme Managers’ Meeting : Now Available

30 Apr 2025

Nearly 200 NTD stakeholders convened in Lomé for the 2025 Annual NTD Programme Managers’ Meeting to exchange experiences and accelerate progress toward NTD elimination. With 98% of participants rating the meeting as “Good” or “Excellent,” the newly released evaluation report highlights both the event’s impact and opportunities for continuous improvement.

The meeting served as a regional platform to align strategies, share innovations, and foster collaboration across countries and partners. Following the event, participants were invited to provide feedback—and the results speak volumes.

Key findings from the evaluation include:

  • High satisfaction with session content and facilitation, especially for roadmap milestone updates, peer learning, and disease-specific M&E presentations.
  • The hybrid format boosted accessibility but revealed gaps in remote interactivity and technical support.
  • Internet connectivity and poster session visibility were noted as areas for improvement.
  • Participants requested more time for interactive group work, greater inclusion of country-led examples, and expanded interpretation services.
  • Future topics of interest include innovative financing, digital tools for programme planning, community engagement strategies, and support for dossier preparation.

This feedback is instrumental in shaping future meetings to ensure they remain inclusive, relevant, and aligned with country priorities.
