TRAINING WORKSHOP ON THE JOINT APPLICATION PACKAGE (JAP) TOOLS AND PROCESSES
ESPEN is delighted to announce the hosting of a comprehensive training workshop on the Joint Application Package (JAP) Tools and Processes. Scheduled to take place in Brazzaville, the workshop aims to address critical challenges faced by national programs for the control of Neglected Tropical Diseases (NTDs) in submitting high-quality treatment reports, epidemiological survey results, and medicine applications within specified deadlines.
Objective:
The primary objective of the workshop is to enhance the capacity of member countries in effectively utilizing the JAP forms for reporting on preventive chemotherapy (PC-NTDs). Specific objectives include:
- Providing comprehensive training on the completion and submission of JAP forms, tailored to the needs of member countries.
- Addressing common quality issues encountered in data reporting, such as inconsistencies and discrepancies.
- Strengthening domestic expertise in data analytics and projections to facilitate informed decision-making.
- Improving the efficiency and accuracy of epidemiological surveys and the reporting of treatment activities.
Key Highlights:
The workshop will feature interactive sessions led by experts in data management and NTD control. Participants will engage in hands-on exercises and case studies to reinforce learning and practical application. Key highlights of the workshop include:
