Effects on NTD Programs
Mass treatment is planned to hold in June; however, this may be impacted if the COVID 19 situation continues globally.
There is no fear of drug expiring due to long shelf life of the drugs in store.
Health workers have been mobilised for COVID 19 and this is impacting on NTD activities.
Technical support from WHO has been requested for in August, and it is uncertain if and how this will be provided.

No COVID 19 cases have been reported yet in Comoros but everyone is engaged with ensuring adequate prevention plan is in place.
