What we do

ESPEN equips stakeholders with the evidence needed to tackle each neglected tropical disease (NTD) effectively, mobilize resources efficiently, and target interventions appropriately.

Collaborating directly with Ministries of Health (MOH), NTD control program stakeholders, and the broader NTD community, ESPEN enhances the impact of NTD control and elimination initiatives. It provides platforms for governments to request medicines, share and access critical data, and strengthen the capacity of NTD program staff.

ESPEN’s work spans 47 countries within the WHO Africa Regional Office (AFRO) and five countries in the WHO Eastern Mediterranean Regional Office (EMRO): Sudan, Egypt, Somalia, Djibouti, and Yemen.
