Smartphone Purchase Guide

In some cases, ESPEN provides smartphones to countries upon request and proven that country program lacks resources to acquire them. The request for donated smartphones is expressed during registration process via ESPEN Portal by specifying the number of phones available at the program and number of phones required to implement epidemiological and coverage evaluation surveys. 

This short guide provides details on the conditions and steps to follow in order to be benefited from donated smartphone. 

It is designed to meet the specific needs of programme managers, monitoring/evaluation officers, data managers, supervisors, and team leaders for tracking survey progress, locating survey sites, inspecting data, assisting with data cleaning, previewing interim results, and assessing interviewer performance.
