ESPEN Steering Committee

The ESPEN Steering Committee is a high-level advisory body established by the WHO Regional Director for Africa to guide ESPEN’s strategic direction. It brings together Member States, donors, medicine donation programmes, implementing partners, and WHO to strengthen collaboration, oversee ESPEN’s workplan, and accelerate progress toward the elimination of preventive chemotherapy-amenable NTDs in Africa.

PC-NTD Regional Program Advisory Group (RPAG)

The PC-NTD Regional Program Advisory Group (RPAG) is committed to advancing the control and elimination of targeted Neglected Tropical Diseases (NTDs) by offering strategic and technical counsel to national NTD programs. In line with recommendations from the WHO/NTD Strategic and Technical Advisory Group, the PC-NTD RPRG guides efforts towards achieving the NTD targets and goals outlined in the 2030 road map.

Monitoring and Evaluation (M&E) Regional Technical Committee

The Monitoring and Evaluation (M&E) Regional Technical Committee, proposed by ESPEN and established under WHO/AFRO, represents a pivotal step in transforming how data for Neglected Tropical Disease (NTD) interventions are managed across the African region. This committee embodies a unified and coordinated approach to M&E, designed to ensure consistent guidance, harmonization, and innovation in global data practices.
