MMM Programme - Application for Mentees

If you are interested in joining Cohort IV of the Mwele Malecela Mentorship (MMM) Programme as a mentee, please complete the basic eligibility screening form below
Eligibility criteria
Identify as a woman.
Work in a role that focuses on Neglected Tropical Diseases, including public health policy, research or program interventions at sub-national, national or international levels.
Possess 10 to 20 years of professional experience in public health, with at least 10 years specifically in Neglected Tropical Diseases.
Reside and work within the WHO Africa region (one of the countries listed here).
Must be a national of one of the WHO Africa Regional countries.
Selection Process
The mentee selection process will take place in two stages:
Stage 1 - Eligibility assessment: Background information and CV.
Stage 2 - Exploration of interests and mentee’s experience.

Application, Notification and onboarding trimline
- Application Period:
- Stage I - Application period closes on 11 August 2026 by 23:59 pm (UTC+1).
- Stage II - We will notify applicants if they have been selected to proceed to a more in-depth Stage II selection process by 11 September 2026.
- Final selection notification: Applicants will be informed of their final application status by 16 November 2026.
- Acceptance and Pre-Orientation Period: Successful applicants will be invited to confirm their participation by early December 2026, after which we will begin matching them to mentors and onboarding.
- Programme Launch: Orientation will commence the week of 11 Janvier 2027.
